BRO THOSE FILL IN THE BLANKS ARE GONNA BE THE DEATH OF ME
okiii so i know yall are stressed, i am toooo. hearing v2 went awesome sauce for everyone and people be fearing our is gonna be hard js like what happened w chem p4. but trust me if you revise well, if you use these last hours before the exam well you can change your grade by a great amount.
so my main piece of advice is OPEN THE SYLLABUS DOC, make sure you understand every point in the document, right now this is more important than past papers because past papers only test a few of those points in the syllabus document at a time. to be confident in absolutely everything that could come you neeeeed to prioritize the content over solving.
now about solving, recently i’ve noticed physics paper 4 is giving us more explain questions so you guys should definitely practice those. also i would recommend for yall to solve topicals on the topics you find hard and have a high yield in the exam like electricity for example.
MAKE SURE YOUR CALCULATOR IS IN DEGREE MODE. you can do this by [shift -> setup -> 3]
ensure all units have been written correctly
about rounding your answer, it is recommended to round to 2 sf but it doesn’t matter if you have it to more because the examiners would round it themselves
please never assume units in the questions like maybe you see a mass but it’s in grams, when doing calculations you neeeed (unless radioactive decay q involving half life) to convert it to the SI unit, for mass the SI unit is kilograms
draw tiny diagrams next to the question or in th blank page to help you visualize the scenario (if it’s done in the blank page make sure to cross it out because cambridge scans the blank pages too)
and finally, don’t stress out.. i know these 4-5 days have had so many back to back exams (I ABSOLUTELY DESPISE CAMBRIDGE FOR THIS) but stressing out can significantly reduce your grade. it’s better to approach the exam with a clear and calm mind. we’ve been studying for so long, we’ve worked so hard.. WE GOT THIS, SAY IT LOUD AND PROUD YALL
