Hi! I am getting married sometime next April~June and was thinking about having the ceremony at a church and then buying out a restaurant for the party/reception. For about 40-50 guests, will within $15k be doable? We are both pretty shy and don’t want to do a lot of traditional wedding activities, and honestly I would love nothing more than a huge conversation pit with a projector and Mario Party…but that’s mostly wishful thinking. Will likely have maybe one speech and the rest of the time I’d like for guests to just eat drink and relax. Wondering if anyone had restaurant recommendations for our wedding party. I know Aurora, Juliette, etc have come up a lot in this sub, but am open to all kinds of food, and for vibes I would like dimly lit and cozy.
I would like to stay under $20k with photography, dress and tux rental, makeup, etc included. Want to get a reality check on this as well. We’re 25 years old and don’t have too much money to spend on one day!
