Diagnosed with PCOS via ultrasound, but could these just be normal cysts?
I'm a 24-year-old female, 172cm and weigh about 62kg, very fit and healthy. I suffer from debilitating period cramps, and my gyno diagnosed me with PCOS based on a transvaginal ultrasound that showed multiple cysts between 0.7 - 4.9cm.
Others have told me these look like "normal" cysts on the ovaries, and a quick Google search seems to suggest the same. What do you think, could these be normal ovarian cysts, or do they actually look like PCOS?
And yes, I know that PCOS CANNOT be diagnosed via ultrasound alone, I know I should go get blood tests done too. I'm just curious if these pictures might suggest anything...and at the very least, if I should switch to a new gyno.
