I’ve been renting through VRBO for years and have never had issues. I rented an apartment and arrived fine. the first morning we were woken up by a man banging on the bedroom window trying to get in. we left immediately. the host is refusing to refund us for the unused night and says since it was our choice to leave. has anyone had any luck with VRBO refunding if the owner is not willing to?
