Afraid of giving a 30-day notice

Hi all!

I hope everyone here has a positive working environment because you truly make such a difference in this world ❤️

Here's the gist: I fudged up and asked my CD if they'd be willing to write me a letter of recommendation for a school position (also asked the head of the school I currently work at and got the most fire letter ever!!). My CD said no and proceeded to tell the owner I was looking for employment elsewhere.

I've stated my passion for working in schools from the beginning when I originally applied for this job and I can barely see my school kids once a week with the high clinical caseload.

Anyways, they keep increasing the billable requirements, up to 75-80% woo! Back and fourth emails from the owner and CD giving me anxiety asking for updates. They also asked me to submit my notice as soon as I could for the sake of "the kiddos."

Since then, I have been forced to take PTO on days I had 0 clients in center/school and work on assessments at home!! Literally billing, but forced to take PTO or be unpaid for it.

There is little to no support from the CD and I feel the overall vibe towards me has shifted. I see they have already posted a job looking for another BCBA. Its in my contract that I give a 30-day notice, but i am also in an at-will state.

For the reasons stated above I will not give any more than a 30-day notice, but am also afraid I will be let go sooner if they find a replacement.

Help???
