Been slowly accumulating my collection over the years and wanted to get some feedback from trusty Reddit

Current setup:

- Denon DP-300F turntable

- Ortofon 2M Blue cart

- Yamaha RX-V667 receiver (also used for TV + Bluetooth)

- Audes 037.1 tower Estonian speakers

- Pinnacle Baby Boomer Sub

Setup details:

- Sub crossover bypass ON, using receiver crossover (~80 Hz)

- Sub phase/volume dialed in by ear

-Using Denon’s TT built-in phono preamp right now

System sounds good overall, but I feel like there’s more I can get out of it.

Considering:

- Possibly adding a dedicated phono preamp (looking at a used Rega Fono MM Mk5 for ~150)

- General setup optimization (placement, isolation, etc.)

Questions:

1.Is the phono preamp upgrade the right next move or should I focus elsewhere first?

2.Anything obvious in my setup that I might be overlooking?
