This movie that came out recently has been my first introduction to the king of pop.
I was lucky and unlucky at the time. Unlucky because in 2009 my mother was influenced by a racist texas man, his songs were never played or introduced and talk about being kind and loving to our neighbors flew out the window.
By the time Michael had died and I was in first grade. I had no idea what the world was going through, 2009 was one of my worst years.
I am lucky because this biopic was the best possible way you could have introduced this popstar to me. I am glad I was able to unintentionally miss all the negative things said about this man in his prime.
Being able to see how big of impact this man was and only through a small taste from the film industry was amazing . I will be a long time listener
