At some point in the last week, my Home Screen got bombarded with ads and crap I don’t want. I’ve tried to edit it, but you can’t remove the bloat.

I used to enjoy walking down stairs and having it turn on to show me the weather forecast for the day. Now, it shows me several ads and a tiny little current temp. I’ve tried several times to get it back how it used to be, but you can’t remove it and only display the weather.

I don’t like the direction this is headed. Can anyone recommend an alternative device?
