Hii guys , just a question , what is the lean approach that the OPS is implementing ?
Hi guys , just curious , how hard is it to get a permanent postion within the OPS , especially considering the cuts in place now
Hey everyone,
I’ve been noticing that co-op experience is becoming extremely important for getting into the Ontario Public Service (OPS), especially for policy-related roles.
I was wondering—does anyone here have experience entering OPS without doing a co-op? If so, how did you manage it? What kind of steps, roles, or strategies helped you break in?
I do have a co-op term coming up, but I’m also curious about alternative pathways in case things don’t work out as planned.
Any advice or personal experiences would be really appreciated!
Hi everyone, I could use some advice!
I have a co-op term coming up next semester, and I’m hoping to land something policy-related. I’ve started thinking about reaching out to people on LinkedIn to connect and learn more about potential opportunities.
For those who’ve done this before, how would you recommend approaching people? What’s the best way to start a conversation without coming off too strong, and how do you keep the conversation going in a meaningful way?
Any tips or examples would be really appreciated—thanks in advance!
