Slide loading instead of lifting?

Hey everyone. Has anyone got any experience of loading a camper by sliding from an adjacent platform of the same height instead of the traditional jacking and reversing method?

We recently had a problem with our jacks and I was thinking about building a permanent platform for the camper to stay on when not in use. I know that the camper slides quite well on the truck bed. It would especially work with retractable ratchet straps.

Possibly a workable alternative?

Hope you're all well 🙂

Leafspring sag.

Hello, my leafsprings are sagging with my 350kg camper loaded onto my ranger. I have sax equalisers fitted.

It's 10 years old, could it be time for new springs?

Perhaps the equalisers are fitted wrong?

Maybe I just need airbags?

Hope you're all doing well.
