I’m currently living in Romania, but I would really like to move to the UK. The issue is that I didn’t live there before Brexit, so I don’t automatically have the legal right to live/work/study there.
I’ve done quite a lot of research on the official government website, and the most suitable option for me seems to be applying to UK companies that can offer visa sponsorship.
My concern is that I have almost 3 years of experience in Marketing (2 years in a corporate role and 1 year as a freelancer), which might not be very appealing to companies that are able to sponsor visas. From my perspective, Skilled Worker visas are usually granted to people with significantly more experience or very specialized skills that are harder to find locally.
I was also thinking about leveraging my advanced Italian skills, but most customer service roles don’t seem to be eligible for visa sponsorship.
I’m curious if anyone here has managed to secure a sponsored job with only 2–3 years of experience, in any field.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated!
