I opened a Mercury bank account last October and have been operating without any issues since then. I’m a non-US resident running a single-member LLC.
Recently, I received an email saying that my company’s legal address needs to be updated. I had been using my registered agent’s address, but it was flagged as a PO box or mail center.
After checking their website, this is what they state:
“Notes on address requirements:
The address must be a physical location in the United States (e.g. the one on your company formation documents or an office)
P.O. boxes and virtual offices/workspaces are not accepted
Have updated formation documents (or equivalent) confirming the address change ready—our team will send a secure link to upload them after your request is submitted”
I understand this may have been my mistake, and I’m now looking for possible solutions to fix it while staying fully compliant.
Has anyone dealt with a similar situation? What are my options here?
