I've sort of decided that I want to build a custom bike over the winter, and I decided to start doing research now, and i would like to now what is a good frame to use for a custom build, I do singletrack, climbs, DH and some XC (but not enough for it to really matter). I also bike alot around the city, stairs, and some random drops in the city, so it needs to be able to handle some abuse. I dont really care what material (not carbon), it needs to look cool. I would like it to cost under 800 CAD so i have more money to spend on parts. One last thing, is 3k a good budget?
