Just lost over 4-5 hours of hard work on my island, even after seeing the island autosave in real-time and creating an Island Backup before quitting for the night.
Really disheartening when this happens, and Epic has said there’s no way to revert back to my previous autosaves or Island Backup (which apparently failed without my knowledge). Makes me even more nervous to start progress again.
I’d double backup your saves this week if you can, and try a small change before committing to bigger changes on your islands. Not sure if this was caused by the servers going down for the new Star Wars releases or not.
