Finally hit $500k in stocks, 37M.
Net worth is about $650k, with the rest in bonds. No debts.
I have leased cars and a rental house. I believe in opportunity cost, so I invest everything left each month, making myself think I'm paying a mortgage and financing cars.
Early on, I made poor investing choices, like mutual funds during COVID and stocks that went nowhere. However, in the last couple of years, I found a good strategy with some stocks and ETFs.
Also, I didn't learn—or have the opportunity—to discover this way of investing until my early 30s.
I come from nothing, so this is a big achievement for me. But I have a long road ahead.
Thanks for reading. Hopefully, you are ahead of me; if not, start now. You can do it too!
