So, I'm 29m, just under 24 stone, and suffer from an underactive thyroid. I take 100mg of levothyroxine and undertake regular blood work to check that my levels are in range (they currently are).

When I started taking Mounjaro, I really hoped that I would see a major weight-loss in the space of the opening couple of months of being on the medication. I've reached week ten and I still haven't quite managed to lose my first stone.

Shortly before starting Mounjaro at 2.5, I purposely stuffed my face the week before, gaining 6lbs. I quickly lost that amount within the space of the first seven days, but things have been incredibly slow since. After a month at 2.5, I spent the next four weeks at 5mg, before progressing once more to 7.5. Yesterday, I administered my third 7.5mg dose. I'm deliberating whether to move-up to 10mg when my repeat prescription is due the week after next (I order privately via Boots). On my first week at 7.5mg, I lost 4 lbs to go down to 23 stone 8lbs. But I've weighed myself every day thereafter and I appear to be now stuck at that same weight.

I appreciate that suffering from an underactive thyroid will typically slow-down weight-loss compared to most other people. But others on here with the same condition/taking the same medication have reported far greater success stories within the same timeframe.

I'm trying to do all the "right things" that are advised to people in my position who wish to lose weight, e.g eating more protein, cutting-down on carbs, exercising daily, managing sleep/stress levels etc.

To a degree, I feel like it's working in other ways. For example, I need to go the toilet more often, and I feel fuller quicker (e.g had a supermarket sandwich for lunch the other day, couldn't finish it).

I'm deeply uncomfortable physically with my body, due to my advanced size. I'm really frustrated with my lack of progress.
