Hey guys, as the title suggests I’m going to be joining the Ministry of the Solicitor General this summer as a Business and Finance Assistant for the first time. What should I look out for? I’m especially curious about how the day-to-day work actually looks, what kind of expectations managers typically have for students, and any common mistakes to avoid early on. Also, if anyone has tips on navigating the public sector environment, like communication style and working with different teams, I’d really appreciate it. Just trying to make the most out of the experience and start off strong.
