The results from early and absentee voting have been released, and it's looking like Betsy Henderson will cruise to the county mayor nomination (Knox News site). She has 12,627 votes to 9,251 for Larsen Jay and 6,274 for Kim Frazier. Election day votes haven't been compiled yet as of 9:00 PM, but unless they're radically different than the early vote, looks like there's a good chance we'll have to deal with Henderson for the next 4-8 years.

UPDATE: As of 10:15 PM, half of Knox County precincts have reported results, and Henderson's margins are holding steady. She's at 15,757 votes, compared to 11,376 for Jay and 8,417 for Frazier. The News-Sentinel has called the race for Henderson.
