Getting anything done with Public Health is just tiring sometimes. My renewal appointment was the beginning of last month and I had everything I needed with me accept my bank statements. It was in the news that they were no longer needed but my case worker said they were still needed cuz the system will flag it as incomplete without it. Thats was fine. I had the morning off so i just went and got it from the bank and turned it in to the front desk with “attn *case worker’s name* ” like she told me to do. Later I got a notice that they terminated my case because I failed to turn in my documents. I have a stamped copy as well as a notice on the portal that they received my documents. This is the fifth time they have wrongfully terminated my case. Twice was just my case disappearing with no notice and they “didn’t know what happened.”
Four days ago i got another notice that they received my bank statements. The ones i turned in THE SAME DAY AS MY APPOINTMENT ON THE 2ND. Today I got two letters from public health that was mistakenly put into my neighbors mailbox. Both had the same notice date of Friday. One says that my renewal was denied because I make $33 over my household bracket. I understand. I just started a new job with a bit more pay than my last. But the other one with the same notice date says I got approved for another year. I checked the portal and my case is still there just pending renewal. I’ll wait till the end of this week to see if anything is pending for my card.
This is just so confusing and i’m tired of going through all this bullshit with public health. I’m already pinching pennies with the help of EBT. I guess I’ll finally get back down to my high school weight like I wanted to now.
