Hi everyone,

I’m planning to apply for the 2027 MBA intake in Canada and would really appreciate some guidance

I’m currently exploring options like the University of British Columbia (Sauder School of Business), University of Toronto (Rotman School of Management), and Brock University.

A bit about my profile:

- Recent SGPA: 9.64/10

- GMAT/GRE: Yet to take (planning to prepare soon)

- Work experience:

- ~3 months internship at a Chartered Accountant’s office

- ~1.5 years experience working in a family-run business (operations/management exposure)

I had a few specific questions:

  1. How do these schools compare in terms of ROI, placements, and networking opportunities?

  2. Is the higher cost of UBC / Toronto justified compared to Brock?

  3. How important is GMAT/GRE for these schools in recent intakes?

  4. Does experience in a family business hold good value for MBA admissions and post-MBA recruiting in Canada?

Also, if there are any other good MBA programs in Canada I should consider, I’d love to hear your suggestions.
