I am a foreign student with a project to act as a company who wants to potentially expand into New Zealand in the dairy industry (exports). Would a foreign company from America have many issues with crime, terrorism, or corruption? Would the company have to worry about environmental impact or use of land given the smaller size of the country? Or is that already something the government does well, like policies protecting the land? Would the company have to recognize or understand anything having to do with the Maori people? Do you have any thought on Maori people as an NZ citizen. How would you enter into NZ as a company in this industry (joint venture or something like that)? Would you as a NZ resident want an American company doing business like this or not, and why for either?

I know I can just google information but I a seeking information form a NZ local perspective. If there is absolutely anything you would like to share from my example questions or not, it would be much appreciated. THANK YOU!
