What was it all about? Struggling to heal from it...
Is anybody able to give any insights into this connection - the most intense, compelling, confusing and devastating of my life so far?
After well over a decade of being contentedly and intentionally alone, I met him out of the blue and something immediately clicked inside. The bond felt deep and mutual, but complex, and there seemed to be so much potential which was never realised. The connection was broken by him brutally after more than two years, and I am still struggling to understand and heal from it another two years later. It was never quite romantic, yet something other than a friendship. What was it all about, especially for him? Any insights gratefully received.
