I'm trying to identify a game I played as a kid that I suddenly remembered exists;

-Would have come out around 1993-98

-Apple Macintosh CD

-cartoonish visuals but I remember it being very surreal.

-you're trying to find agents that have gone missing (I think they've all been turned into things), they have pieces of a code to launch a "probe". One of the first puzzles is putting a message explaining this in the right order.

-final puzzle is launching this probe rocket with the complete code.

-distinctly remember one agent had been turned into a cube of jelly.

-one of the puzzles is in a diner and you have to devise a plan to escape police or enemy agents using a sequence of actions (i think creating a diversion with pepper is one component). The puzzle is putting the various steps of the plan in the right order. It then plays out and you get caught unless you got the right order (you got once chance).

-there was a demo for another game on the disc from the same developer, the demo was also point and click and has you roaming around a kinda creepy washed out looking apartment building hallways solving puzzles. It was very minimalist. I distinctly remember a clue/puzzle is a picture of a woman wearing a fruit hat on the wall.
