Hi, I was building a pretty big Titanium Alloy plant (at least for the stage of the playthrough that I'm at) and since it's probably the largest/most complex facility I've ever built up until now I made a big sheet of calculations to understand what materials I would need to build it. Since I've already done all of this work I figured I could share it here and maybe help someone save some time. Hope you appreciate it.
A few notes on my sheet:
-The plant I'm buiding based on this sheet aims at maximum efficiency and to produce as little waste as possible as well as requiring the least truck import/export as possible. For these reasons i decided to produce all the missing graphite and chlorine on site. If you read closely I also chose to vent/dump 2,4 low pressure steam because I could have got back only 1,8 water from it after running it through a small L.P. turbine. Ultimately I decided it was not going to be worth it as I would need to also maintain said turbine and generator "wasting" maintenance to recycle such a small amount of a very inexpensive resource. Another concern was that it would create an unbalance between the turbines making them consume steam in a "fluctuating" manner eventually making it backlog and therefore stall/slow down production. I'm not sure if this could actually happen but it was not worth the risk imo. If you need that drop of water so badly consider that a rainwater harvester makes more than that.
-I didn't add the calculations for the extra water that needs to be injected into the system because there are tons of ways you could get that imported (via truck or less than 2 groundwater pumps) or produced locally via desalination.
I'm currently building the actual plant in the game so if anyone is interested I will give an update down here and give you the string to the blueprint. Hopefully I didn't bore you with this essay lol XD
