Is it better to live inside campus (UP dorms)? Or outside the campus (nearby places like KNL and condos).

Hi im an upcoming freshman, I'm not confident in getting into up dorms because even though only my mother works (self employed) we are still in metro manila and might not be accepted because of that.

Additional questions about UP dorm:

1. Which matters most? Your distance or your parent's income?

2. How reliable is the UP Dorms? (Can you stay there through summer? Or if you have midyear, and is it easy to extend you stay into the next year if you have the grades and units?)

3. If you live in one of the up dorms, how's your experience, specifically about the community bath and the temperature inside the dorm.

OA nung title. I just want to know how do you defend yourself with the accusation of "UP student ka baka maging NPA ka ah" Wag ka sumama sa mga rally baka ma-recruit ka"Mag UP ka? Baka maging aktibista yang anak mo". In a way na walang away. Additional question, any tips going forward dealing with these people? Im trying my best not to be ragebaited but some people are fr about their comments.

I wanna know if I can get a job as a scientist or along that line as a computer engineering major. Like a job that creates robots, and machines (a researcher or scientist of somesort). I also would love to get into biotechnology but I want to focus more on the hardware part of technology than software. Is it possible? And where can I get these jobs?
