There’s this suspicious and really persistent petition group I’ve been seeing all around the place I live. A lot of their members seem inexperienced. They try to present themselves as being all for progressive issues but some of their petitions aren’t that progressive at all. They try to hide the large companies that sponsor the petitions under sticky notes or even refuse to bring the relevant information at all. Just a few minutes ago someone went around to people pretending to be a student that needed help with a project. I googled sketchy petition groups and apparently one pretty close by was recently caught paying homeless people to sign their petitions. I don’t know if it’s the same group.
