Hey everyone! Looking for any insight regarding long term impact of a nick in the bark (possibly cambium) of a 1.5-2” caliper B and B maple tree.

The canopy was full and healthy but this nick occurred sometime during transit/planting. I believe it’s less than the 25% threshold of the circumference that’s referenced in literature.

Any experienced thoughts or concerns?? Thanks!
