For the fraction of the cost…

My 2025 Mach E GT was able to hang with a Mercedes Benz AMG GT. I love this car, even with 59% left on the Battery I was able to pull off the line from an Mercedes AMG GT, of course he was able to catch up and pass me after a while but the amount of fun for the money this car has is insane. This is my second GT. I hope ford plans to keep these in the line up for years to come.

If you’re in the market for one of these, please go test drive one. You will love the comfort, suspension and the power. I know the depreciation isn’t the greatest but if you’re planing on keeping it for a while still worth it.

Sorry for the posts lately guys. But my R4 is acting weird after I updated the firmware from 1.37 to v1.39. It use to pick up Multi light cameras with speed light and red light but after the update it will only show red light warning on the device.

The picture I have here shows a red light camera and there is no warning. It won’t even pick the camera. So today I drove the opposite direction where the camera is and it picked it up? Weird ?

Also I set the speed light and red light distance to 2000 ft to alert me and it will only alert me at 1000ft or 300m. I can’t change this. I put it to 2000ft but alert is 1000ft.

It use to give me a “ you’re going over the limit” warning when I approached a speed light camera and NOW no warning. All this happened after I updated the radar detector firmware.

I been in touch with Uniden BUT all the recommendations they gave me didn’t work.

I re-flashed the device, I reverted to v1.37 without any luck.

I have till tomorrow to return the device for an exchange so I don’t know what to do at the moment.

Picked up a new Uniden R4 last month. The problem I am having is, it won’t pick up some red lights cameras in my area. I would drive past it and No warning even though there is red light camera there. Updated the latest Firmware and factory reset the radar detector. Still when I come to that area it won’t alert me. Should I just press Mark on the detector to alert me next time? Yes I do have the GPS on. I have Vortex Radars personal recommended settings for the R4 installed. The device seems to be working great except this issue.

Is it something to worry about? Any info would be great. Cheers.

Edit: I should note that I am in Calgary, and one of the lights is the red light camera by North Land Mall. R4 won’t pick it up. If anyone from Calgary has the same issue please let me know. Cheers.
