I just watched S8 ep13 (the one where Wesley loses the DA election).

Was this ep filmed before the show got renewed for S9?

I just feel like it was a great ending point. Like obviously not storyline wise, but like all of them together and talking (esp. Rodge and Celina's convo). And Nolan and Wesleys speeches. It felt like goodbye.
