It has no legendary skins and no animation sets. Yet it's a day 1 gun that has seen moderate popularity. What gives?

Has anyone else noticed how almost all new weapons now come with an animation during their session release? What can we do to have Embark hear M60 mains? This 2nd paragraph is also just so I hit the character minimum...
