In maryland, went in to negotiate on a brand new 2026 Corolla LE in Silver with no additional packages. Lowest that the dealership was willing to go was 23,100 on the purchase price down from 24,639 MSRP, and the out the door comes to 26,000 OTD. I have tried calling around, but it seems that few stores stock a true base model LE in this color. Is this deal worth taking, or is it overpriced?

Edit 1: Thanks for all the feedback, I get the consensus that although the initial OTD of 26,000 isnt "a scam," others have managed as low as as 24,500 OTD, so I have a lot of room to haggle that I didn't previously realize. Trying to be below at least 24,800. Hope this is helpful to anyone else buying! Be mindful of taxes and fees specific to your region/township, and always shop around.
