If the title wasn’t clear, I was just academically separated from Purdue, and I’m absolutely devastated. I take full responsibility for my actions; I wasn’t prioritizing my academics and I was going down a slippery slope with substances and mental illness. I should have been better about my grades and I deeply regret my actions and behavior. I don’t know how to break the news to my parents (I’m Indian if that makes a difference, and yes they are aware of my mental illness). I want to make sure I can come back by the spring semester. Does anyone have any experience or advice for me? Any and all help is greatly appreciated.
