I need some advice on a job situation I'm facing. I recently made it through 3 rounds at a company and after the 3rd round I was told I was shortlisted to the 4th round and it would be a virtual HR round and a person from the company called me on last Monday and asked me for updated resume and LinkedIn , which I gave and there was no response for some days and I called them to enquire and they said "if the need arises, we'll contact you." what does it mean did I loose my opportunity .I'm really struggling with the uncertainty. Part of me wants to message the recruiter one more time for a definitive answer, but I don't want to come across as desperate or annoying. I would really appreciate any advice regarding this situation .
