Does this count as a slowburn?

I’m not really in the Booktok community as I don’t even have TikTok but from what I’ve heard you guys are the pro’s when it comes to romance books so does the below description sound like a slowburn or not?

does it count as a slowburn if their is definitely feelings from one character towards the other but hey haven’t come to terms with that and don’t think they think they anyone of the same sex for the first book. (and the love interest doesn’t reciprocate)

and in Book 2 the MC is acting weirdly around the love interest (MC is never shown from their POV btw so you’re seeing it through the eyes of another character who is interpreting it as suspicious and untrustworthy behaviour) and the love interest still isn’t reciprocating until the mc and love interest get drunk and kiss on the last page.

In book 3 MC is so embarrassed that they hide there feelings and pretend nothing happened and try there best to convince themself to fall out of love with the love interest. The love interest realised they had feelings for the MC after the kiss and three quarters of the way through book 3 announces this to MC and they agree to start dating if everything between them goes well for the next week and then become an official couple at the very end?

im not super into romance and just want to know if this would count as a slowburn one

Flipping the ‘I HATE SEWING!!’ Trope on its head

sewing and other textile related skills are super important, how else are you going to fix that hole in your shirt? perhaps even that tear in your leather armour?

the main genres I see this trope in are non-modern-day romances where the female mc is written like a cookie cutter Y/N type and are supposed to be read as rebellious and a tomboy but just comes off as someone you can easily imagine yourself being, and usually falls for the most misogynistic man to ever exist and then ends the story by becoming obedient and feminine…

Anyways I love sewing and it’s really fun! so I decided to flip the trope on its head and have a male character who loves sewing and everything fashion!

How to focus on writing as a Neurodivergent writer?

Ive got ASD and possibly adhd (I definitely have traces of incentive adhd which my doctor did say) I zone out a lot and I always focus on other stuff. I’ve tried to keep my desk clean so I can focus but it NEVER works, I just can’t stay clean and organised and this always makes it so I can’t concentrate on writing and I’m always getting side tracked.

I’ve found that setting a timer helps but also just getting into the writing mode in the first place. my brain needs something that is gonna make it feel good and sitting down and being still doesn’t help with that.

another problem Ive found I have is that if something is aligned with my special interest (which is whatever part of my OCs story is my favourite at the time) I just can’t get anything down onto the page.

I also take meds which affect my mental alertness and I think this might potentially make it so I zone out more, but these are no meds that I can just stop.

if any other neurodivergent writers have any tips please share them.

(apologies for bad grammar I'm on mobile and my keyboard is cooked)

What’s the best way to help me find an audience as a writer?

what is a good way to get people to see my books, be interested in them, and of course read them.

I write mostly fantasy, adventure and historical fiction stories with gay romance undertones and mostly set in the 1800s.
