They're not supposed to match canon at all, or even be 100% realistic (since we're talking about plasma-shooting dragons lol). I've made these just for fun, because in my AU (where HTTYD 2 Toothless still looks and behaves like HTTYD 1 Toothless, and HTTYD 3 doesnt happen) Night Furies arent extinct at all, and there's actually many of them, they just dont normally end up in the archipelago.

I plan on making more of these "pages" showcasing other types of genetic mutations they can have, their different behaviours, and also a page for the possible eye colors, wich i forgot lol (but i included them all on the 9 different morphs). Might include some typos, cuz i was tired while writing some of these lol

Some extras about Night Furies in my AU if yall wanna read and learn how they behave lols:

Males and females barely have any physical differences, being around the same size and having the same colors. The only difference between them is that the females have "smoother" wings and tail fins, but longer spikes on the sides of the tail (meanwhile, males look like how Toothless looks in HTTYD 1. They have no splitting spines or "alpha glow" in my AU)

In my AU, Night Furies live in the continents, near rainforests, where they evolved to be leaner, smoother and darker than the dragons seen around the archipelago (so i can explain why they look so different from the dragons around Berk lol). Because of that, they kinda resemble panthers and salamanders, having evolved to be great hunting and manouvering in the middle of dense, dark forests with rivers. They form small -often familiar- groups called "rages", and they're actually far from being extinct, just being very good at hiding.

When their hatchlings are born, the parents take turns taking care of them, and almost every night, they'll hide their hatchlings in different locations. They have developed retractable teeth to be able to constantly grab and carry their fragile hatchlings around without harm.

Hatchlings are born the size of a large cat, and since birth, already have the instinct to lay flat in their nests at any sound, waiting for their parents to come defend them from harm. Night Furies are very smart, and know when a threat is too big and the chance of survival is low, so they'll always choose to hide from harm.

In my AU, Night Furies also have the ability to "deathroll" their prey, and hatchlings start to show the instinct to deathroll as soon as they can see food in front of them (it looks pathetic at first lol)

Im still deciding a lot of stuff about how the Night Furies work in my AU, but for now, that's everything i've made up for them! Ofc people in Berk would have no idea about any of this, only my AU's version of Grimmel, who used to live in the continent and had to hunt some in his lifetime, having learned how they live and behave.
