You wake up in a strange cathedral, your body weak, and your mind clouded with blistering flashes of chaos and fear. You’re faintly aware that there are others around you, slowly awaking from their sleep. When you come to, you ask yourself, “how did I get here?” Glancing around the tall wooden columns overlooking you, you get a sense of uneasiness. The old waterlogged lumber creaks with age and unsteadiness, the air thick with fog and moisture. As you’re getting a sense of your surroundings, an alarming realization reaches you:

You don’t remember your own name.

Hi there! I’m Shiloh, I’m a 22f, and am looking to host a long-running dnd campaign of 3-6 players. I am not new to DND, and have been DMing for about four years now. My campaigns are mostly linear based, meaning that I’m going to give you a clear direction and timeline on where to go and how to go about it, but I will always encourage my players to seek out their own adventures in my games! My content is heavily homebrewed, specifically when it comes to worldbuilding and certain combat mechanics; but, our system will mostly follow the 2024 5e rules.

My games are rp-heavy, and the story always blends into the inner conflicts of the PCs. The story is as strong as its participants! Meaning, I will delve into the background and personality of your character, and make conflicts and situations that give them a focal point in the story. This means, whatever character you decide to make, will have a large impact in the story, no matter what.

I will discuss rules and expectations further in dms, but quick things that are crucial to note are:

1. This is an LGBTQ+ friendly table
2. There is zero AI presence in my campaigns (token art included)
3. This will be hosted biweekly (most likely on Sunday or Thursday)
4. I run a low stress ship! I’m an adult, and so are you, and I understand life sometimes gets in the way, so you never have to worry about DND feeling like a chore or homework at my tables!
5. I am more than welcome to dming for first time players! I’ve introduced people to DND in the past, and would be thrilled to do so again :)

For a brief idea on what you’re signing up for, Shadowhearth is a Gothic Mystery Action Adventure with high stakes, and an emphasis on character development and relationships. Your character wakes up in a strange underground world, filled with demons, monsters, and undead that wish to hunt and destroy you and your companions. With your newfound enemies, also comes unlikely allies, as you’ll navigate through cozy lantern-lit villages, and ominous stone cities that are occupied by aloof, but well meaning people.

Your character retains no memories of who they are, or how they got there. All they have with them is the clothes on their back and small items in their pockets or pouches to serve as a clue to their past life. In order to revive your lost identity, you must journey through this strange new world, and vanquish the ancient evil that has been terrorizing the inhabitants that wish to help you escape.
