in one of the last 2/3 episodes gulab says she won’t let anyone who’ll take her son away from her close to nawab. she obviously meant it for heer because she thinks heer is the one who does that/will do that although in reality we have always seen heer never interfere between nawab and gulab or even try to convince gulab sometimes

if the makers are going to make simran and nawab close(even as friends) and now we know gulab likes simran and will probably give her the job then maybe simran will be the one to distance nawab from gulab and turn him against her which will make her flip and start favouring heer
