Hello!
I exited the military 2 years ago as an AEMT. (Advanced Emergency Medical Technician. 4N0 in the US Air Force )
I currently live in a country that isn't the US. My spouse is still Active Duty, so I've spent my time out of the military in a European country. Hiring freezes and language barriers have made it so my time out has been uneventful professionally. I've fallen out of contact with everyone pretty much so I'm concerned about references.
We are due to return to the states shortly. my question is:
What do I do to make myself marketable? Is my gap in resume and references going to be a major issue? Should I expect that I won't be marketable in this job market?
I miss work immensely, and am decidedly exited to lean back into my role.
Any advice would be helpful.
