Over the last month I’ve been working on an Ur-Dragon deck. Not sure if you all are familiar with that commander, but it seemed fun /s.

Anyway. I attempted foolishly to make it as a bracket 2. I figured it was be slow enough and be appropriate there. That didn’t work as I wasn’t willing to take out the stuff I liked to handicap it more than it was. After that I decided to embrace it as a bracket 3.

My question is whether or not it’s still appropriate there. Here is the list:

I have avoided any 2 card combos. Still, the last 2 times I played it, it went off and won by turn 6. Last night specifically was turn 4, but that was partially bc of taking mulligan to 6 and getting a monster hand and a group hug deck that helped me draw and play extra lands.

After those few games people in my pod were saying they just aren’t having fun and I should reevaluate the deck’s bracket. So, here I am…

Final note is I do not think this would run well against legit bracket 4s. I only have one B4 deck with Kefka and it would beat this far more often than not. Thoughts?

My regular pod has done all the Draft Night releases the last few months. Lorwyn and TMNT were complete doo doo, but today we did SOS and winner got this Triumph of the Hordes Silver Scroll.

One of the other players had to actually leave after he lost and asked us to rip the pack so he could see what would be on the line. Added some fun extra pressure to the final match knowing there was such a real prize on the line.
