I am traveling to Greece in early September. I am wondering if the ferry prices shown on Ferryhopper tend to change in price or if the price I see now will be the same in September? Of course I plan to book the ferry before my trip, not day of.

Similar question for flights. I am flying from Athens to Naxos. Google Flights shows this route for the timeslot I need is $144 which seems a bit high. Not sure if I should wait or just book the flight now.

For my trip in September, in order to maximize island time, I am planning to take the overnight Blue Star ferry from Amorgos to Piraeus the night before my flight. My flight is at 19:30 and the ferry would be 19:00 (The day before) and arrives at 05:00.

Since it is a slow main-line ferry, this shouldn't be risky right? Even if the delay is many hours, I still have a lot of time before my flight. Thoughts?

I will be visiting Greece at the beggining of September for 14 nights/15 days. I will be visiting Naxos, Koufonisia, and Amorgos. This is my skeleton itinerary I have so far.

Day 1: Fly from Athens to Naxos, arrive on Naxos around 12:15.

Nights 1-6: Naxos (6 nights)

Day 7: Take 25 minute ferry to Koufonisia, arrive on Koufonisia 13:05

Nights 7-8: Koufonisia (2 nights)

Day 9: Take 40 minute ferry to Amorgos, arrive on Amorgos 15:10

Nights 9-12: Amorgos (4 nights)

I have 2 more nights that I need to figure out what to do with. Not sure if I should add days to the (3) islands I am already visiting, or maybe direct them somewhere else? These (3) islands lack lively nightlife, so I was possibly considering coming back to Piraues a night or two early and spending that time somewhere on the Riviera. Amorgos-Paros would also be an option, as Paros has great nightlife, but not sure if it's worth the detour. I can remove (1) night from Naxos, if it makes sense to make an additional island work.

On day 15, my flight out of Athens is at 19:00, so that could be a travel day from the islands with a slow ferry, if need be.

Thoughts and suggestions?
