I had varicocele surgery 9 months ago now. since surgery I have had major problems with my bowels and constipation. I told my doctor at my after surgery check-in and he said it was likely the anesthesia and it will go back to normal. He said if it didn’t go back to normal in 6-9 months I should let him know because it would have to be something different. I called last week, because I still am having this issue and it’s really starting to make major negative impacts on my life. My urologist office just routes me to their triage people to tell me that they spoke to my doctor and there is no way this could have been caused by surgery. Even though, I went in for surgery without these bowel issues and have had them since. Anyone have similar issues after the surgery?
