Got home from school today and saw an AAA offer from UCL to study politics and IR. Whilst I was happy to see it, I’d pretty much blocked it out my mind and assumed that I would get rejected as it is now basically May, and have since fallen in love with Edinburgh. I love the city and the uni, as well as the opportunity to do Politics and Spanish with a year abroad. I know UCL is a better academically and in terms of industry link but I currently live in London and don’t want to stay. Edinburgh is MA Spanish and Politics whilst UCL is BSc Politics and IR. Is it that ridiculous to firm Edinburgh, also being a lower offer at AAB?

My dream is to work in diplomacy, something international like the UN secretariat
(I would choose LSE over both but still am yet to hear back)
