I didn't realize the deadline had passed to apply to graduate, which yes is on me, but I didn't get any kind of notice or anything even though my college sends me 60 useless emails a day, anyway not the point. Instead of graduating spring 2026 I'm graduating summer 2026 but already finished all my credits and will still be transferring to my 4 year as planned. Will this look bad in the future or negatively affect me in any way? I tried to ask my counselor/ other staff but they were all very unkind to me and didn't really give me an answer other than basically "you effed up whatever happens is on you." Am I rightfully freaking out or is this something minor because I feel like I've just ruined my life.
