Looking for Pure Psychological Dread in Arthouse Cinema Need body

I’m looking for the most intense arthouse psychological movies ever made — films filled with paranoia, dread, mental collapse, obsession, isolation, anxiety, existential terror, or disturbing human behavior. Not really looking for jump-scare horror or action-heavy thrillers. More interested in slow-burn, oppressive, atmospheric films that stay in your head for days. Stuff that feels emotionally exhausting, surreal, claustrophobic, nihilistic, or deeply unsettling.

Looking for the most intense arthouse psychological and sci-fi movies ever made.

I’m searching for movies that feel hypnotic, disturbing, existential, emotionally crushing, or mentally overwhelming — the kind that completely consume your attention and stay in your head for days.

Watched - possessor, mandy, coherence , climax , enter the void, annihilation, under the skin, ex machina.
