Freja is consistently the second weakest dps in the game rn (by winrate), but she does improve in high ranks. She feels bad to play against due to high burst damage, and some would also say high mobility but I think that is less true for most players. I made a list of buffs that I would like to see to round out Freja make her feel better to play, and make her better in lower ranks so she doesn’t feel useless there. Also, right now Freya is all about taking him and all of her abilities work around that. These changes would help make her less reliant on one part of her kit. Also her perks are terrible a literal joke and make her scale bad further into the match. I don’t think all of these are necessary for Freya to be good, but I would love to see some of these changes.

225hp —> 250

- This will let Freja take longer engages and a way to buff her while rounding out her kit

Reduce  take aim stick damage by 10 (hot take)

- I would only do this if they increase her health because of how massive the 25hp buff would be, and I belive this would also take away the 2 tap on 225

Freja: Rejuvenating updraft —> When you use updraft begin regenerating shields until you hit the ground, transform 125 Health —> Shields

- this is similar to pharah, and this slight change would allow Freja to re-engage enemies faster and less reliant of healers

Freja: Change double updraft perk —> Every 3rd primary fire 3 additional shots in a large spread but each shot deals 65% reduced damage

-this would increase Freja close range ability, this choice would push Freja to get closer to her enemies, wich would make other close range charcters who feel they cannot interact w Freja because of her insane range now be in more situations to interact with her

Reduce dash cooldown to 4s

- this is to allow Freja to use dash for mobility more often without feeling punished for not being able to combo take aim
Allow for abilities to be used during Bola (her ult)

-this would make the ultimate less telegraphed and more fluid

Increase take aim aoe size

- this would make missing her take aim less punishing

Reduce updraft cooldown to 10s

- there is no reason for it to be 12s it feels so bad rn

Freja: Ammo Recovery perk  —> Bola pulls in enemies even without sticking

-this I’m less sure about but it would help combo with the aoe from take aim more consistently and help her out in lower ranks

(Warning hot takes)

The problem with secondary util in r6 rn is that they are not balanced well, some pieces of util are useless (info blockers) and some are game changing (nitro) so here are some changes to make the ass ones better

Remove grenade indicator, but make grenades larger and louder

-this is manly to help flashes so they arnt so easy to turn from, and punish people who arnt paying attention

Drag grenades should be able to be cooked, but reduce amount to 1, and remove grenade damage from belo ground

- Originally got changed because they were too strong from below ground, but instead of directly addressing the made frags not fun, also limiting the amount of frag grates could help keep them balanced

Bulletproof cams bulletproof, no side slits

-BC’s genuinely can be destroyed or shot so easily, I would also reduce deploy time and remove the weird emp effecg, it’s useless and needlessly complicates the game

Make proximity alarms ping themselves (or maybe enemy) when the alarm is triggered

-this will help my dumb shit teammates move on my prox

If attackers get a bulletproof drone like revealed, then defence should get somthing in return, Molotov Cocktails. You could have 2 charges and each could last 5-15s and have similar to tachanka damage

-this would help defense stall pushes and you could reduce the necessity of having smoke/goyo/tachanka, but they would all still be stronger and have unique aspects abt thier ability. Maybe after this they could give tachanka his turret back for OG fans

Make observation blockers sens walls, but lower their they deploy out to and maybe reduce count to 1

-rn OB are lowk useless bc drones can go right pass them, and if you shoot the drone before it passes the OB, then the enemies can still locate where you are. Making this change would completely rework how some maps are played and would help defense single out engagements by blocking alternative attack entries I know this might be a hot take

Make impact the EMP’s block equipment for 6 seconds, then destroy it

-this would help generalize the gadget, not enhancing its ability to take wall (the only thing it is good for rn) but making it more useful in other situations
