I’m an airline pilot and I’ve been growing more and more aware (and alarmed) by my industry’s increased exposure to cosmic radiation. I’d like to get a portable device to measure the current levels and dose while I’m flying. I’m also a bit of a techie and gadget nerd and love the ton of features the Radiacode devices provide over just a standard meter. Lots of fun and practical applications that would be awesome to explore, Another huge benefit is the app and its ability to track things without me having to manually input data from the device.
My question is would the radiacode work for what I’m primarily hoping to use it for? Just from a bit of searching it sounds like it may not be the best for tracking cosmic radiation exposure. If not, any suggestions for a device like this that would be better and offers an app to use with it?
