Just got hired as a new manager and I want to streamline some of the processes. What apps and systems that integrate with toast are the biggest time-savers?

We currently use toast as our POS, open table for seating, and Kickfin for tip payment. None of the systems talk to each other currently, we use excel to match up the numbers at the end of the night.

I know I can upgrade toast to integrate it with those two, but I have to justify the extra expense to upper management. What else can I tell them to help sell them on the idea? And what other systems make your lives easier?

This is the only restaurant I’ve ever worked in, and while I know bookkeeping well, I don’t even know what I don’t know, so any advice is appreciated.
