Hlw everyone...
I’m going for the 3rd service of my Meteor 350 this Saturday. The bike has done around 9.5–10K km, so it’s right on schedule for the 10K / 6-month service.
This will be my first time taking it for service myself, my brother handled the first two so I want to make sure I don’t miss anything important.
From the last few weeks, I’ve been noticing an annoying knocking/clicking sound from the left rear side, especially at low gears. At first, I thought it was due to a loose chain, so I adjusted the chain last Sunday. It didn't help, the sound is still there it feels like something is interrupting the bike’s smooth movement.
I’d really appreciate some guidance on:
- What all is usually checked or replaced during the 3rd service?
- What parts should I specifically ask them to inspect?
- Could this sound be related to chain sprocket, brake, wheel, or something else?
- What’s the expected cost for this service?
- Any tips for dealing with the service center (things to double-check before leaving)?
Since this is my first time handling it solo, I just want to be well-prepared and not overlook anything.
