I have a court date for a speeding ticket (not super speeder) but for going 84 in a 65 on I-85. I know what I’ve done is wrong and I learned my lesson and am extremely careful with driving now. I’m 20 years old.

I start a new job two days before my court date and will be in new hire orientation on the day of my court date. I called the job and they really don’t want to have to push back my start date.

I want to know, if I reschedule the court date will the court be harder on me? Or will it be the same? Thanks in advance!
