We are almost to the point where we can essentially take every being to a kind of techno-nirvana where all desires are fulfilled and desireless bliss is achieved. Surely an omnipotent God can do better than that even for "evil" (though i would use the term bad not evil) desires. [Christianity]

If God is maximally good why does he make his power known through wrath and infinite torture instead of doing this. If we're almost to the point technologically where this techno-nirvana is possible, surely God, being omnipotent and omniscient can do this.

I've personally experienced desireless bliss (maybe i achieved nirvana and returned as a bodhisattva, idk) and it was the most wonderful thing imaginable.

Why doesn't God fulfill every last desire of every being that has ever lived without even breaking a sweat? The fact that he's omnipotent means he should be able to do this with the flick of his pinky and he could even fulfill every evil desire without so much as a fly or ant being harmed.

Imagine technology continues the path it's going and we dispense with the specious notion of free will so in the future instead of prison we take serial killers and plug them into full dive VR where they can kill until they get bored of it or grow out of it or lose interest or you just keep them plugged in until they pass away. It's not that far fetched and we are talking about something that doesn't reauire omnipotence at all. God should be able to do this much more effectively than VR.

I think I have a new standard to assent to calling a being God and it is that they try to bring everyone even "bad" not "evil" people to nirvana using their omnipotence and omniscience.

In comparison the Christian "god" just seems like he is really really powerful because I dont doubt his ability to cause harm on the level he is planning to, but he's not omnipotent because he would liberate all beings.

Even devils reward the obedient and punish the disobedient. Devils torture their enemies.

Does my pain make the grass greener in heaven?

It would really really suck to be annihilated instead of receiving eternal life. Why isn't that enough?

This question honestly makes God seem sadistic.

Does seeing someone who hurt you burn alive give you satisfaction? You wouldn't be happier if they simply stopped existing and could never hurt you again? Why not?

It seems so beneath God to need someone to be in pain in order to feel better after being injured. Will my pain heal your wounds? Will it reverse the harm?

In fact why burn people at all? Why not just Thanos snap them out of existence? You really need to get revenge that badly that their last moments have to be burning to death?
